Mac, Jim and Darrin are joined by guest Steve Philipson and talk about his upcoming rebreather course. We also have scuba in the news and the other pre-requisites of the show.

This Week’s Guest

Steve Philipson

Steve is a Michigan based sports photographer and local diver. He enjoys underwater photography with models but also sea life and wrecks. Originally from England, Steve certified with BSAC in the early 1980′s but began diving again in 2011 on a DSD with his son in Grand Caymen. Since then, he has worked his way through PADI training and is just about to complete his Dive Master course, hoping to achieve OW Instructor by September this year. Steve has invested in a LDS to spearhead rebreather diving and technology in MI, something he feels is currently missing. His future goals include certifying as rebreather diver and instructor on Ambient Pressure’s EVO and Inspiration, and Poseidon’s MKVI.
