This was Darrin's first ice dive. The dive was completed at Singer Lake in Baroda, MI on January 9th, 2010. Don McAlhany was tending the line and Jim Kliemann was playing safety diver. They visited this site again two weeks later.

Man how I love to use things other than for their approved purpose. This time we are tampering with the rules of nature by cutting a hole in the water... well... it is hard water.
Jim was completely in his element plunging that Stihl into the ice. Cutting wood just won't have the same appeal after this.
